A limited edition of our Merlot Rovere 2021 to mark the 20th anniversary of Dementia Research Switzerland – Synapsis Foundation.

Sergio Monti followed and sustained the Synapsis Foundation since the first years of its creation. Years after he passed away because of Alzheimers. He was aware of it since the first simptoms and he remained serene and gentle until his last day. He had another great passion: the vineyard and the wine. A passion that pushed him to study, investigate and experiment in a groundbreaking way the research of a superior wine quality, elevating the name of Cantina Monti to the top of swiss oenology.

He was convinced that without an effort research results cannot be obtained.

For Synapsis Foundation’s 20th anniversary Cantina Monti is honored to represent this spirit. More than with a product, with an emotion that Sergio Monti’s wine can give.

About half of the proceeds will be donated to the dementia research.
